Catherine Herfeld's Dissertation Awarded Top Prize by the Wittener Universitaetsgesellschaft

The Wittener Universitaetsgesellschaft has chosen Catherine Herfeld's dissertation on rational choice theory for its 2014 Best Dissertation Award at Witten/Herdecke University.

The dissertation, titled "The Many Faces of Rational Choice Theory," was supervised by Chrysostomos Mantzavinos (University of Athens) and Philip Kitcher (Columbia University).

This is the second prize Catherine's dissertation has won, as it was awarded the Joseph Dorfman Best Dissertation Prize by the History of Economics Society at its 2014 meeting in Montreal.
