Welcome to the homepage of "The Contributions of Businesspersons to Economics," a one-day conference organized by Rob Van Horn (University of Rhode Island) and Eddie Nik-Khah (Roanoke College). The conference will be held in room 113 Social Science at Duke University on Friday, November 13, 2015, and is being funded by the Department of Economics at Duke University.

The conference will begin on that Friday morning at 9:00 and end with dinner that evening.

Out-of-town participants will be lodged at the Washington Duke Inn. A room has already been reserved for you. All you have to do is give your name to the front desk when checking in.

The conference will pay for your lodging (up to two nights, Thursday and Friday) and for the meals that are part of the conference (e.g., not including room service or hot breakfasts in the hotel restaurant). Meals include Continental breakfast foods, which will be available at the site of the conference (113 Social Science); lunch on Friday; and dinner on Friday. All other expenses, including travel expenses (e.g., air fare, cab fare), are the responsibility of each participant.

The conference is open to invited guests and participants only.
