David Schmidtz of the University of Arizona will deliver a Hayek Lecture titled "Corruption" on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 11:45 a.m. in Biological Sciences 111.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Schmidtz is Kendrick Professor of Philosophy, professor of economics, and founding director of the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona.
He is the author of Rational Choice and Moral Agency (Princeton University Press, 1995) and The Elements of Justice (Cambridge University Press, 2006), and is coauthor of Social Welfare and Individual Responsibility (Cambridge University Press, 1998).
Professor Schmidtz will sign copies of his books after the lecture.
