Charles Murray will give the next lecture in the Hayek Lecture Series on Wednesday, October 24, at 4:00 p.m. in 217 Perkins Library, Duke University. The lecture, which is open to the public, is titled "Coming Apart at the Seams: America's New Cultural Divide." It is sponsored by the Center for the History of Political Economy; the Program in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics; and the Program in American Values and Institutions (the Gerst Program), all at Duke University.
Mr. Murray is a W. H. Brady Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. His most recent book is titled Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960–2010 (Crown Forum, 2012).
