Duke Clinic Food Court
A food court at the basement level of the Duke Clinic with name-brand eateries Hardee's, Domino's Pizza, Baskin-Robbins, and Chiripa's Mexican Food; Starbucks Coffee; a deli with subs and sandwiches; a stand with bakery items; a Hospital Auxiliary snack bar with expanded selections; and an exhibition cooking station featuring dishes like stir-fry, Caesar salads, Cajun chicken, and heart-healthy cuisine. Open Monday through Friday in the Duke Clinic building from 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Home Station serves breakfast from 6:30 to 9:45 am. Lunch places serve from 11:00 am to 2:30 or 3:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS: Enter the Duke Clinics (Hospital South) through the Davison building (keep walking down the quad after passing Soc. Sciences, Davison is the building straight ahead, at the end of the quad). Walk straight down the first corridor, when it ends, bear left, follow signs to the Main Entrance. Just before reaching the Main Lobby (you’ll see large glass doors and an exit) take the stairs or escalator on your right DOWN one level, and follow signs to the Food Court.

Duke Hospital North Cafeteria (The Atrium)
Located on the first floor across from the staff elevator lobby, the cafeteria is open 365 days a year. It has a Deli, Grill, Hot Entrees, Salad Bar, Pizza, Desserts, yogurt and some fresh fruit.
Hot breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:00 am
Lunch is served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Dinner is served from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

DIRECTIONS: Enter the Duke Clinics (Hospital South) through the Davison building (keep walking down the quad after passing Soc. Sciences, Davison is the building straight ahead, at the end of the quad). Walk down that hallway until it intersects with another hallway; turn left. Continue to the first hallway to the right (by the Gift Shop); turn right. Take the stairway just across from the Gift Shop, down to the lower level. Turn right, and then left. Do NOT go through the large doorway, but take a left and quick right instead. That hallway will take you past the PRT shuttle and several ATMs. Continue out the door, and take the covered walkway until it ends (it is not straight, but meanders, past the Searle Center/Med School Library, flowers, etc.). Enter Duke Hospital North at the end of the covered walkway; turn left and go down the long hallway (windows on the left, interesting displays in the cabinets to the right) until you reach a hallway going left. Take that hallway, and then another quick left down a wide hallway to the cafeteria (called the Atrium) on the right.

Durham Eating

A wide variety of cuisines is available in Durham. There are some great restaurants and bars on Ninth Street and along Main Street downtown. These two streets are easily accessible from East Campus, which is accessible by campus bus from West Campus. Here is a good guide to the possibilities:
